Protecting Kids from BPA

It is known that the estrogenic chemical bisphenol A (BPA) can be harmful to children. We have regulations aimed at protecting them against this chemical, which is commonly found in canned foods. However, recent studies show we may have neglected an even more vulnerable group of our population, our unborn children. BPA exposure in the womb has been linked to prostate cancer, obesity, early puberty, cardiac disease and lowered sperm counts, even at low levels.
