Apple Bans Two Dangerous Toxins Used in Your iPhone

Apple has banned chemicals that can cause cancer, nerve damage and reproductive health issues from some factories supplying the iPad and iPhone. This comes after pressure from environmental groups. Two of the toxins banned are n-hexane and benzene, and although an internal investigation found that the company, “didn't find any evidence of workers being put at risk,” they did discovered that both chemicals were being used at four of the plants in products that did not list them among their ingredients.
